Usha Reddy

Mrs Usha Reddy is known for her skill in producing paintings of Gods and other deities besides Tanjore style paintings. Usha's speciality is using a combination of precious yellow metal, gold, precious stones and oil colours. Each work consumes not less than week to ten days if worked on at a stretch, says Usha.

Usha did her BSc. and BEd. Her hubby Chenna Reddy is a popular journalist. They have a daughter and a son. Both of them are doctors. The hobby, which she took up after her children settled abroad brought her image and recognition.

Usha happens to be good at paintings and bathique with watercolours.

The deities in Usha's works include Lakshmi, Vinayaka, Radha Krishna, and Durga.
