Art Gallery Kilaru (Raecherla) Rajyalakshmi Prasuna
She portrays plight of womenfolk in true colours. In spite of her busy professional schedules, she preserves and presents the inherited artistic excellence. Her inclination towards the majestic women of the country, such as Rani Rudrama Devi, Sarojini Naidu, Durga Bhai Desh Mukh and Indira Gandhi reflects her inherent qualities.
Kilaru (Raecherla) Rajyalakshmi Prasuna is the elder child of Prasada Rao and Punyavathi of Penamaluru on the outskirts of Vijayawada in Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh. Since her early childhood, she is inspired by her father Prasada Rao’s ‘colour skill’. Long before, she mastered to draw the sketches and experimented with colour combinations Prasada Rao headed for Almighty responding to his invitation. Fine arts, especially painting arena interested Rajyalakshmi right from the day she could hold senses.
Young Prasuna with her inclination towards the artistic patterns used to closely observe a variety of paintings flown from renowned artistes' brushes. Vaddadi Papaiah’s art works fascinates her on par with Bapu’s line works.
For sometime, Prasuna under the guidance of popular artiste Poduri Ravi, learnt oil colour mixture outputs. Large number of friends and relatives decorated their houses with Prasuna’s recreations of landscapes and portraits.
Prasuna is now on the international platform of art undergoing training at the " International Art Academy of Design and Technology", Chicago and attending to various conferences on art.
Most of her works replicate the sufferings, plights, fights, and successes of women. There is no distinction about ancient or modern when it comes to selection of subject for Prasuna. She makes us feel the expressions of Sakunthala or Meera Bai passed on to us lively through her colour combination on any medium.
The inborn talent grew as a passionate hobby along with Prasuna.
Prasuna graduated in science and married to an economics scholar, Subhash Naidu Recherla. Naidu, second son of Munaswami Naidu and Kantamma belonging to Krishnapuram close to Tirupati in Chittoor district of the state, extended all the possible encouragement to Prasuna. With the inspiration from husband, Prasuna completed M.A., with Philosophy and Bachelors in Education from Sri Venkateshwara University, Tirupati.
Later, she appeared for state public service commission’s selection examination and joined the service with the "Department of Treasuries and Accounts" as Senior Accountant. While she was working with Director General and Inspector General of Police’s office, she received an offer from United States of America and got relieved on a long leave for five years.
Subhash and Rajyalakshmi couple is blessed with two sons. Elder son Jayanth Pridhvi Raj is pursuing his Bachelor of Technology course with Information Technology branch. He is now in his third year of the course at Sri Nidhi College of Science and Technology, Hyderabad. Bhuvan Samrat, younger son, is sailing through his Intermediate course.
