Favourable Dates & Times

Generally we select a favourable date and time for certain important purposes. The following guidelines may help you to choose a favourable date and time.

The 10^th day from the a new Moon and the 5^th day from the full Moon, when Sun and Moon are at a harmonious distance of about 120 degrees (trine) are highly favourable. The 5^th day from the New Moon and the 10^th day from the full Moon are also good because Sun and Moon will be at a harmonious distance of about 60 degrees known as sextile. Both Sun and Moon should not be afflicted by the conjunction, opposition or square aspect of Saturn Mars or Uranus.

Better to avoid the 8^th day from the New Moon or full Moon because Sun and Moon will be at an adverse distance of about 90-degree (square). The 2nd, 3rd, and 11^th days are feebly good. The full Moon days are good for public relations meetings, publicity, felicitations and cultural program's, if the luminaries are not afflicted. The New Moon days are good for important changes provided the Sun and Moon are not afflicted by other planets.

Choosing a proper squarely is important, according to the purpose or nature of activity.

Profession, Business and politics

Jupiter, Venus, Mercury or Sun should be in the 10^th house at that time, better if the 11^th house is occupied by one or more of these planets. Still better if the cusp of the tenth house is well aspected. Saturn Mars or Uranus should not in the 10^th house. The ruler of the 10^th house should be free from afflictions, registration of a company, starting of business, publicity, swearing in ceremony, joining duty dealing with ministers, VIPs and officers and political activities are favoured during such favourable times.

Property

Buying and selling of real estate, construction of building, house-warming, lease deeds, entry into new business premises of office, agriculture, plantation and domestic, function are favoured during the time when Jupiter, Venus or Venus occupy the fourth house and the ruler of the 4^th house is well placed and aspected.

Money & Material

Purchase, investment, deposits, stocks financing, trading and collections are favoured hen the second house is occupied by Jupiter, Venus or Mercury and the ruler of the second house is well aspected, Mars, Saturn Uranus, Neptune, or Moon should not be in the 2nd or 8^th house.

Engagements, Contracts, Partnership

Agreements, contracts, partnership, matrimonial alliances, engagements, compromises, new relation social functions joint ventures and spousal affairs are favoured when the 7^th house is occupied by Venus, Jupiter or Mercury and ruler of the 7^th house and Venus are well placed. Mars, Uranus and Saturn are not desirable.

Journeys & Transportation

Short and long distance journeys may be preferred when the houses 3 or 9 are occupied by Mercury, Moon, Venus or Jupiter and unoccupied by Mars, Uranus, or Saturn. Houses 6^th & 12^th should be Vacant.

The same time is favourable for foreign trips, education, literary work, journalism, advertisements, publications, conferences, mailing, and communications.

Sports, Fine Arts, Love & Pleasures

Venus, Mercury, Moon Jupiter or Neptune should be in the 5th house, well aspected. Still better if good planets occupy the houses 10, 7, 11, and 3.

Medical Treatment

Houses 6, 8, 12 & 4 should be occupied by Mercury & Venus or Jupiter without afflictions. Moon should not be in the sign governing the part of the body to be operated.
