Love Marriages

The fifth house signifies love, the 11th house governs friendship and relationship, and the 7th house the partner in life and profession. A male and a female may fall in love (at first sight) if there are mutual attractions caused by the planet in both the horoscopes. The following planetary positions may cause love marriages

The Ruler of the fifth house in the 7th and the ruler of the 7th in fifth house. The Ruler of the 7th in 11th or vice versa. Ruler of first in 7th and the ruler of the 7th in the first house. Conjunction of Rulers of 1 & 7 in fifth, 11th or 7th. Uranus in the fifth, 7th or 11th house conjunct with the planets in the other two houses or connected by aspect. Venus or Moon in one horoscope related to Sun or Mars in the other horoscope by conjunction or aspect. Uranus plays a significant role in unconventional marriages.

Influence of houses

The planets ruling or occupying certain houses may cause mutual attractions if they are related to the significators - Venus, Moon, Sun, Mars and the rulers and occupants of houses 1 & 7.

Third House

One may be attracted by neighbour, school-mate, friend or relative of brother or sister, a teacher or frequent visitor. Friendship may develop in journeys or through letters.

Fourth House

A relative of parents, co-resident, tenant, owner of the house may attract the person.

Fifth House

The person may be an artist, writer, teacher, student, sportsman, or one in a good position.

Sixth House

Marriage may take place with co-employee, boss, industrialist, druggist, doctor, nurse, patient, or sub-ordinate.

7th House

The person may be a partner, friend, a relative of a close associate, or a person in the popular field.

8th House

He or she may be working in a financial institute, bank, corporation, hospital, or department of insurance, pension, savings or may be a business person.

9th House

The person may be a teacher, student, advocate, politician, publisher, journalist or one employed in railways, airlines, telephones, radio, television, transport, marketing, foreign job or a relative of brother or sister. Marriage may take place in a temple, ashram or school. Friendship may develop in journeys.

10th House

Marriage is likely with the relative of parent, boss or a person in good position. The status and good family background may be the cause of attraction.

11th House

The person may be a friend or relative or member of the same organisation. Love or friendship may develop in a get-together function or social activity.

12th House

The person may be a teacher, doctor, nurse, journalist, artist, patient or one settled abroad, or engaged in transport, exports, defence, catering, pharmacy or spiritual profession.

Examples

A lady born on 12.10.1953 at about 8PM in Hyderabad. Taurus is the Rising Sign or First House. Jupiter in second House Gemini. Uranus in the 3rd House, Cancer, Pluto in the fourth, Leo. Mars and Venus are in the fifth house Virgo. Sun, Neptune & Saturn in the sixth Libra. Mercury is in the 7th house-Scorpio and Moon is in the 8th, Sagittarius.

The ruler of the First House, Venus is in the fifth House-Virgo along with the ruler of the 7th House-Mars. The ruler of the fifth House-Mercury is in the 7th House, while Mars-ruler of the 7th House is in the fifth House; thus there is an exchange of signs between the rulers of Houses 5 & 7. The combination of the Rulers of House 1 & 7 Venus & Mars and the connection of the rulers of 5 & 7, Mercury & Mars by exchange led to love marriage.

She is a Manager in a Company. She fell in love with a man working in the same Company (Ruler of the sixth-Venus in fifth) who belongs to a different state, language, and caste. He is one year younger to her. Venus is in exact sextile (60 degrees) aspect to Uranus. Sun & Neptune are square to Uranus. These are responsible for unconventional marriage.

The man she loved was born on 27 September 1954 at mid night in Bangalore with the following planetary positions. The sign Cancer was rising at birth, Uranus and Jupiter are in the first House-Cancer. Pluto in the second house-Leo; Sun, Moon, Mercury & Neptune are in the fourth house-Libra. Venus and Saturn are in the fifth house-Scorpio. Mars is in the seventh house Capricorn.

Here, there is a combination of Venus and Saturn in the fifth house; and they are rulers of houses 11 & 7. Further, there is an exchange of signs between the rulers of house 5 & 7, Mars & Saturn. Ruler of the fifth-Mars is in the seventh house and the ruler of the 7th-Saturn is in the fifth house. These factors led to lover marriage. Venus-Saturn combination is responsible for marriage with an elder lady.

Both lived together happily together for some years but they got separated after the birth of a child, because of Moon-Mars affliction (square) in both the charts. She married another person as Venus & Mars are in a dual sign. The remained single and died in 1997.

There are many cases of love marriages which did not last long for different reasons due to afflictions of the significators. A few love marriages are successful.

It may be noted that four planets are in own sign Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn. Both Mercury & Jupiter, rulers of house 7 & 1 are conjunct in the first house, in good sextile aspect to Venus in the 11th. This led to love marriage.

Rulers of houses 7 & 11 Mercury 7-33 are in exact sextile in houses 9 and 11. Sun & Uranus-rulers of houses 9 & 3 are in exact sextile in house 11 & 9. Mercury & Neptune, rulers of house 7 & 4 are conjunct in the 11th house. Friendship developed in the college of engineering because of influence of houses 9-11-3-7-4. His Moon trines her Sun , her Venus sextile his Mercury & Neptune. Her Sun & Mars sextile his Uranus. His Moon trine her Sun & Mars. Both are living happily with children.

Unconventional Marriages

Marriage with a person who belongs to a different caste, religion, country, language or tradition is termed as unconventional marriage in astrological language. The planet Uranus plays a vital role in causing such unconventional marriages, because it is the planet concerned for anything that is unusual, peculiar, sudden, strange, new, more modern or more ancient, unconventional and revolutionary. The phrase "off with the old and on with the new" is often used to denote the character of Uranus.

Intuitive and inventive faculties, originality, independence, novelty, changes, disruption, separation, reforms, politics, socialism, other isms, airways, railways, high speed, computers, electronics, astrology and occult subjects, explosives, earthquakes, thunder bolts, bombs, etc., are signified by Uranus. The same planet causes separations, divorce, or death of spouse in many cases of unconventional marriages.

Sun is the signifactor of husband in the horoscopes of females and Moon is the signifactor of wife in the birth charts of males. Next in importance are Venus and Mars. Venus signifies the wife and Mars signifies the husband. Both Mars and Venus govern the physical love.

The seventh house governs marriage and the marriage partner. The planets in the 7th house and the ruler of the 7th house will influence married life and indicate the nature or career of husband or wife. Good or bad aspects to the planets occupying or ruling the 7th house, indicate whether married life will be happy or difficult.

The fifth house governs love and attachments. The 11th house governs friendship. The planets in the houses 5 and 11 and the rulers of the two houses play a significant role in unconventional love marriages, if they are connected to the 7th house and Uranus.

Exceptions are very few in Uranian marriages where the couple lived together in the same house for a longer period because Uranus amuses in separating the couple in different ways. There are couples who are working in different towns and they can meet once in a week. The spouse may die in an accident after a few years of marriage. The husband or wife may prefer to live alone due to serious differences or other reasons. The eccentric behaviour of man or woman forces the other to seek divorce.

Indira Gandhi

Uranus was exactly on the 7th cusp-Aquarius 19 degrees-58' and Leo 20 the degree was rising at 11-11PM on 19-11-1917 at lat.25 degrees 27' north, long. 81 degrees 05' East, when she was born. Her ruling planet Sun was in Scorpio 26 degrees 50' afflicted by the square aspect of Uranus. She married Feroz Gandhi, a man from a different community - Parsi but her married life did not last long. They lived separately for some years and she became a young widow. The same Sun-Uranus square aspect was responsible for his sudden death. She was shot dead.

Sonia Gandhi

Sun in Sagittarius 17 degrees 10' was in exact opposition to Uranus in Gemini 19 degrees 52'. Leo 20 degrees was rising at 9.30PM on 9-12-1946 when she was born in Turin-Italy. Sun is her ruling planet. Uranus rules her 7th house-Aquarius. Sun is in the fifth house and Uranus is in the 11th house, both signifying love and friendship. This led to the unconventional love marriage of Italian lady with an Indian male-a pilot, who later became Prime Minister. Her husband died in a bomb blast.

Virgo was rising when Rajiv Gandhi was born on 20th August, 1944 at about 7.30AM in Bombay. Jupiter, Venus, Mercury, Mars and Moon were in Virgo and Uranus was in Gemini, the 10th house in exact square to Venus and Moon. Saturn, the ruler of the fifth house is in the 11th house (love & friendship) in good aspect to Jupiter, Moon and Venus. These factors are responsible for the unconventional marriage with an Italian lady and also for his career in airways, sudden shift to political career and death in bomb blast-all Uranian influences.

His brother Sanjay Gandhi-a pilot had an unconventional marriage with a Punjabi lady and died in plane disaster at a young age. He had Uranus in Gemini in exact opposition to Sun in Sagittarius and square Moon in Virgo.

Elizabeth Taylor

The fourth degree of Libra was rising and Venus and Uranus were in close conjunction in the 7th house Aries when she was born at 7-7 PM in London on 27th February, 1932. Venus is her ruling planet and Uranus rules her fifth house. Mars, who rules her 7th house is associated with Sun and Mercury in Pisces, afflicted by Neptune from Virgo. The close combination of Venus and Uranus in the 7th house caused several marriages and divorces. Sun, the significator of husband, and Mars-the ruler of the 7th house are in the dual sign Pisces, along with Mercury. All the three planets are afflicted by Neptune in Virgo. There is mutual reception between Mercury and Neptune. She married eight times.

There are some successful unconventional marriages, because the significators are not afflicted in their horoscopes.
