Today ANOOS is the most sought after beauty clinic, and the entire credit for this great success goes to the four "Anoos" sisters who started this clinic. It is very interesting to note that the names of all the four sisters start on a similar note and they are Annapoorna, Anupama, Anirudha and Anuradha. The harmony in their names extended into their ideas and made their venture as a formidable team effort.

The "Anoos" sisters credit their entire success to their father, who has instilled in them a sense of self-confidence and encouraged them to take up this unconventional profession. On the strength of the encouragement received from parents, from their modest beginning, today they have grown into a beauty clinic with six branches in A.P., and what more, very soon they are going to open a branch in USA also!

"Anoos" with their international standards has become the only ray of hope to those suffering from obesity, unwanted hair on the body and other beauty related problems. Their clinic at Amruta estate, Himayat Nagar in the heart of the city of Hyderabad, is always busy with women from all over the state. HamaraShehar is very happy to interview the "Anoos" sisters and share the secret of their success with you:

How did you take interest in beauty and in this field?

It is mainly because of the encouragement we received from our parents. Our father used to take us to beauty parlours when we were young and it is my father who gave us the idea of starting a beauty clinic. And this idea became a success only because all the four of us started this as a team. We in fact started very modestly with little equipment.

You are concentrating only on obesity treatment and electrolysis. Is there any special reason?

You see, many women have problems that they can not discuss openly. Our idea is to provide specialised treatment for such problems. Technology in beauty treatment has improved so much today that it is very sad to note that even today many women are silently suffering with the problems of unwanted hair and obesity. When we started our clinic, most of the women used to tell us only these two problems and as a woman even I have faced similar problems. So we had decided to concentrate on these two aspects only and this is how we focussed our clinic as an "Electrolysis and Obesity" clinic.

Where from you got this modern equipment?

The whole equipment is from Europe. We in fact have an Eastasian business license there. This license needs to be renewed every year and for this we visit Europe every year. I am happy to tell you that last year we got "International Eastatic Certificate" at a seminar conducted in Italy.

You are all running this together. You never have any differences among the four sisters?

Never! We never had any differences among us. It may be because we are closely knit right from our childhood.

Any special reason for electing this as your career?

This field gives you tremendous scope for creativity. Moreover spreading beauty in this world gives a sense of fulfilment to our lives. It is for these reasons we have made this our career. We continuously work on novel and creative methods in making every woman seeking our guidance look more beautiful.

Can you tell us something about the progress of your organisation?

We already have six branches in A.P. Very soon we are going to open a new branch in Miami City (Boca Raton) in U.S.A. But there are more formalities to comply there. Like you should have Eastatic license at least for five years and a doctor must be consulted before giving treatment. Clients over there take the treatment only after consulting a doctor. Most our people over there would like to look as a traditional Indian beauty. So we are planning to introduce our 'natural products' there.

How is the competition in this field?

Competition will be there in every business. We give a very quality treatment without any side effects and we use all imported equipment. We have our own unique methods in treatment and our treatment is permanent. We constantly try to improvise also. We are now trying to reduce the duration of the treatment.

There is a criticism that the capitalist order in India is encouraging our women to go after the titles like Miss Universe and Miss World. Do you agree with this?

No, We don't agree with this. These titles cannot be achieved if one has only a commercial attitude. Self-confidence is also equally important.

We had beauties in our country earlier also. But why is it that our women are getting these crowns only recently?

Yes, you are right. But there is no training available in those days. Women those days have no proper understanding on the beauty contests. Now things have changed a lot. There is a lot of self-confidence in our women. This is the key to our women's success in winning the "Miss Universe" and " Miss World" titles.

What is the secret behind your success?

Customer satisfaction is the main reason behind our success. The team spirit among our four sisters is also a main contributing factor. When a client approaches us for our guidance, we try to understand their expectations fully and we even try to put ourselves in their position in order understand them fully. Then we try our best to fulfil their expectations and we fully involve ourselves in satisfying our customers. We give so much care to our clients as we give to ourselves. This is the key to our success.
